* RIP – Sr. Mary Gallagher, SHJM
We have just learned that Sr. Mary Gallagher died in February at a nursing facility in England. Sr. Mary was among the first of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary to come to St. Jerome when the parish school opened and later served as its Principal. She also served as Pastoral Assistant for several years under Fr. Don Osuna. During that time, Sr. Mary, who was a trained spiritual director, founded the parish RCIA Team. In addition, she worked for short periods at two other parishes in the Oakland Diocese and on in Sacramento.
